Baby Rhinehart, lovingly nicknamed "Kickie" for the past 10+ weeks, is set to arrive in 1 month! It's amazing how quickly the 40 weeks has come and gone, so Ross and I figured it's time to start a blog to capture the amazing changes about to occur in our lives and our soon to be growing family!
I've been feeling great and have really had a very easy pregnancy. I'm still running and doing everything like normal. My belly button is starting to lose the battle and has gone from a little ski jump to basically flat over the past few weeks, and I am starting to miss sleeping on my back. But all in all, it's been great! No stretch marks. Still wearing some non-maternity clothes with the occasional maternity shirt mixed in. As of last week I'd gained 23 lbs, which is right on track. Now I just need to keep myself in check over the Christmas holidays and these last few weeks of pregnancy! Kickie moves like crazy each day and it's the most surreal feeling. The doctors say the baby is already head down, and all is looking good.
The nursery is finally all set to go and we have just about every item we think we need, plus some! We're really happy with how the nursery turned out. The engineers in us sure nailed the chevron stripes! Our family and friends really spoiled us with all the baby gear too!
We had a lovely photo shoot with Katie Van Buren, our fabulous wedding photographer, this past Saturday, to capture the pregnancy and get some beautiful new pics of Ross and I before we become a family of three. Three humans that is! Kuna will always be our first baby! She's such a sweet dog and we can't wait to see how she does when the little one arrives.
We're so excited and still trying to comprehend how our lives are about to change but can't wait of the adventure! Lil Rhinehart will be here before we know it!
