My pregnancy in review....
- no morning sickness
- no cravings or food aversions
- not ever ridiculously tired
- bloated in the 1st trimester
- no heartburn, except after eating Qdoba or cheese dip and then going for a run!
- I missed sleeping on my back, but after Aiden arrived, I was still more comfortable on my side!
- no stretch marks! :-)
- gained 27 pounds from the low I got to in the 1st trimester....lost 20 of it in the first 1.5 wks!
- never bought any maternity pants!
- no signs of labor prior to the morning Aiden was born
- belly button became a ski jump by about 25 weeks, but never became a full blown outie!
- worked out the entire pregnancy; stopped going to bootcamp at about 33 weeks and ran 6 days before going into labor
- loved feeling Kickie move around! Felt first movements around 20 weeks
I'm so thankful for the healthy and easy pregnancy I had and for the healthy baby boy we have now!
Week 12 and 13 – LIME - heard our baby's heartbeat! Told our families! Wake
up to pee all the time!
Week 14 – LEMON – starting to lose my abs
Week 15 – APPLE – so bloated!
Week 16- AVOCADO – feeling good, maybe slightly starting to
show…can’t suck it in
Week 17 – TURNIP – had doctor's appointment, heart beat sounded good!
Week 18 - told work I was pregnant!
Week 19 – starting to show…size 8 skirts
getting tight :-( ... no more sleeping on back
Week 20 – Tuesday 8/19/14 (19 wks 5 days), felt the
baby move!! During quarterly
review. Felt like my heart beat at
first, then little pulses/punches. Very
cool! Starting to gain some weight and
show a little more
While in Spain –Weeks 24-26
San Sebastian – moving ipad up and down on my stomach when
it moved!
Flamenco Dance – felt the hiccups for the first time
Sevilla – baby shaking my whole stomach it was moving so
much!
