Two month stats:
Weight- 11 lbs 11 oz (26%)
Length - 24" (83%)
Hair color - medium dark brown, he's getting new little hair on top and the hair in the back is slowly rubbing off.
Eye color - beautiful dark blue
Longest night sleeping stretch- 9 hrs! He slept through the night for about 4-5 days last week, and sleeps 5-6 hrs in a row the nights he doesn't make it the whole night through. Pretty amazing for a 8 week old baby. Let's hope he keeps it up!
He's still wearing size 1 diapers and is just about too long for the 0-3 month sleeper outfits.
Loves: getting his diaper changed (or just laying on the changing table), bath time, his activity mat and looking at the little animals, looking around, walks in the carrier, smiling for Gammie and likes the fresh air
Hates: being hungry or too sleepy
Aiden has such a sweet and calm temperament. This week he has really started smiling at us and has the most adorable smile and dimples. The past couple weeks he has begun to see things and loves to be able to look around. He gets the hiccups almost daily and has the cutest sneezes and squeals. He is super strong. He likes to grip our fingers, kick against us, and holds his head up really well. He eats every 2-3 hours during the day and has some very awake days and other very sleepy days. It's hard work growing 4" in two months! He slept through the night most of last week, and wakes up once a night to eat the other days. He's such an amazing sleeper. I'm so lucky!
Aiden has been such a calm and sweet baby that it has really been very easy to enjoy every minute with him. We can't believe how quickly time is passing and I'm dreading maternity leave being over too fast.
Aiden did great at the doctor, screamed briefly when he got his shots, and didn't feel so good that afternoon. With a tiny bit of infant Tylenol he was back to himself in no time.
Happy two months Aiden!! We love you so much!!
