Weeks 28 and 29 - giggling!

Week 28 -

Aiden tried peaches this week and seemed to like them!  He's so big and strong.  It's incredible.  He started wearing 12 month clothes this week, and it shockingly isn't too big on him!  We went to the mountains for the weekend and he had fun seeing Gammie and Papa after all their trips and spending some time with Clayton.  He loved the Vail Farmer's Market.  So much stimulation! He loved seeing every dog!  And enjoyed his second gondola ride up Vail mountain!  We also got a sweet hiking backup off of Craigslist up in Vail, and we think he'll enjoy it. He stayed awake the entire walk around the loop, just looking around.  He slept great this week, only waking up a night or two to eat.  I had quarterly review on Thursday, and it brought back memories of the first day I felt Aiden move, during this 3rd quarterly review last year.  So crazy that he's now this incredibly happy army crawling giggling little guy!  He loved sitting up and playing with the toys on his playmat from a different perspective and watching the dogs fetch in the mountains.  He's starting to laugh a little bit more this week and it's so cute. He's already acting like he wants to pull up on us and crawl over us.  Look out, he's learning how to move!  He LOVES peek-a-boo and when Dad claps for him.

Week 29 -

New to the menu: pears!  And he LOVED them!  He was almost giggling between bites.  It was so cute.  He's such a good eater.  And the way his eyes light up and sparkle when he's looking at you is just about the most adorable thing ever.  We added yellow squash over the weekend and it was also a hit.  Very little this guy doesn't like to eat!  We let him try to Mum-Mum rice crackers too to start letting him feed himself a little bit.  Too cute!

He is really moving this week. I'm almost going to call it crawling, although is upper body is still doing a lot of the work.  He rocks on all fours and trys to pull himself up on our legs, but can't quite figure it out yet.  But, if see's something he wants...he can get it! He loves Kuna's toys, shoes, of course water bottles, and really anything but toys! :-)  He's slept amazing this week and I think next week I need to stop waking him up to eat in the morning because he rarely falls back asleep now.

This was Delly's last week watching Aiden, as school already starts back up next week, and he had one day with Mom and Dad too.  Wow, the summer has flown by!  We've been so fortunate to have family watch Aiden these first few months and we're so happy for the great bond he has with Robyn, Delly, Catherine and Terry.  Pretty unique!  Shelby will start full time on the 10th and will come spend a few hours with Aiden and I this week and next before.  Delly was sad, but also really enjoyed her time with him.  He's such a happy boy, it's hard not to enjoy him!

Aiden also really started laughing this week.  He was a giggle machine when his Gammie was tickling him and he just laughed and laughed at Ava Serven dancing around when we visited them on Friday.  He also had fun playing with Jack and Elijah on Sunday.  Aiden is such a blast.  Crawling, pulling up, giggling. He's precious.  We love every second with him.  We don't get very many snuggles, except during his late night feed, as he's always on the move!  Wants to grab or look at everything.  He was a fantastic sleeper this week.

Love you baby boy!
