Dad had ankle surgery this week, so Mom had two babies to take care of this week. Unfortunately Cambrey got laid off this week, since the oil industry is so depressed. But fortunately, now she'll be around to help with Aiden and Dad a bit! Dad's surgery went well, but the upcoming 6 weeks non-weight bearing will be a challenge. Hopefully hanging with the little guy will make it a little more fun.
He clenches his fists less and less each day, is not getting the hiccups everyday anymore, and mainly only keeps his landing gears up in the evening. He is totally figuring out his hands and seeing everything. He adores his playmat, and his silly Daddy. I love being is mother. I love spending any second I can with him. It's the more adorable part of my day when he is super smiley and almost giggling and squirmy when I bundle him back into his swaddle after the early morning feeding. He's such a doll. We're so lucky to have him as our son!!!
Thursday, April 16 -- Aiden rolled over!!! He rolled from his stomach to his back during some tummy time with his Dad in the morning! Ross said he just rolled over so quickly and was calm as could be. I was actually still at the house because I had a doctors appointment this morning, but I missed it. :-( Dang it! Hopefully I'll see the next one.
Aiden is watching us! He follows us walking away. He turns toward our voices. He watches Kuna run around. All the sudden this week it's like he can really see and follow us.
I love how we stretches out his whole body while we change him. Locks his legs totally straight and gets a good stretch in!
And...since the day he was born, you'd be surprised that such loud toots can come from such a little body! We can't help but laugh!
Aiden rolled over a few more times on Saturday, and I got to see it and we caught it on camera! He has no idea how he did it, but it was so cute to watch!
