Hair color - medium brown....short in the back, long on the tops and sides! He can have sweet spikes or an impressive comb-over!
Sleeping - Still sleeping through the night! Sleeps 7-8 hrs every night. Falls asleep about 7:30-8pm, we feed him again and put him to bed around 9-10pm. He wakes up to eat at about 6am and then goes back to sleep until 7:30 most mornings. He's a great sleeper at night. He still only cat naps during the days, 35-45 minutes, 3-4 times a day. He only wakes up at night a few random days, I think when he's growing and extra hungry.
Eating - Aiden still eats about every 3 hours during the day. Still drooly, but not any worse than a few weeks ago, and no little teeth showing up yet.
Loves - Smiling, Standing up, and Kuna! Grabbing his toys or anything and shoving them in his mouth or rolling over and reaching for his toys are favorite activities. He really seems to enjoy his little activity saucer and the stimulation it gives him. He loves the little owl. Still loves to get changed and grab his pee-pee with his left hand every time he gets the chance! He also loves to chew on his toes. Papa taught him that one, and he loves it! Grabs those feet and brings them to this mouth all the time. Aiden loves when you pretend to eat him and give him fishy face kisses and blow on his cheeks or stomach. He loves to watch Kuna play in the house, loves when he gets to pet her, and enjoys her kisses. He recently started enjoying when we swing him in the air or Dad holds him high or upside down. He squeals and screams and plays with his voice all the time! He's so loud, but so happy. Loves bath time and splashes around like crazy and grabs his little ducks. Aiden still really enjoys being outside too. He likes to reach for our water bottles and loves sticking his fingers in Mom's mouth. During his photo sessions he loves grabbing for the age blocks. Loves to sleep on his side.
Hates - Sitting still to read a book. He'd rather eat it or being doing something where he can move! Hates going to sleep! We have to snuggle him and rock him and convince him it's bedtime. He still doesn't like to get strapped into his car seat.
Clothes - He's in size 2 diapers and 9 month clothes. He's officially wearing 9 month sleeper outfits, 6 month onesies, and 12-18 month socks! He looks adorable in his shorts. We're just about to go up to size 3 diapers to see if that will help minimize the number of blowouts! They are almost a daily occurrence.
Milestones - Aiden is rolling over! He started rolling from back to stomach on Mother's Day, only to his left. And then last weekend finally figured out how to go to his right. He still hasn't figured out how to go from stomach to back yet, but I'm sure he will soon. He's definitely grabbing for things and picking them up. He puts everything in his mouth. He found his feet! He grabs his feet and does "happy baby" all the time. He's close to sitting up, he just hasn't figured out how to keep himself upright yet.
Aiden is such a delight. He's the happiest little guy. He smiles all day and smiles right before bed. He squeals and plays and lights up our life.
This past month was Gammie and Papa's final one watching Aiden. They loved the time they got to spend with and he certainly loved it too. Nana started watching him this past week and has really had fun days with this little guy. She's been looking forward to her time with him and we're sure happy she's here to spend the time with him. We're so blessed to have such great family that loves our little man!
