Loves to be tickled. Rolling both directions- Monday he learned to go from stomach to back. Butt up, head down, it's hard work! Loves to pet kuna (w our help). Squeals with delight and screams a lot. So big! Even the 9 mo clothes looks small already. Big eater this week. 6-7 oz at a time! Interviewing nannies, may have found a good one. Tanya watched him Wednesday. Waking up at 2 or 4. Growth spurt? Teething? Ready for cereal? I think we'll try it this weekend. So damn cute. Best little boy! Sucking thumb. Starting laughing over the weekend. Cutest little giggles at Kuna when I sprayed her with water and again later when she was jumping up for her little squeaky ball in the house. Slept 10.5 hrs one night
Week 23 -
Started solid foods. First taste of cereal on Monday. Seemed to like it! Got better at swallowing each night. Applesauce Sunday, he wasn't so sure about that. Kept opening his mouth for more but made the cutest concerned face. Michelle watched him Wednesday. Friday drive for Saturday wedding in Pagosa Springs, long drive for the little man. Kept him entertained by making faces at him. He was a hoot at the wedding...stayed awake like crazy, so smiley and slap happy. Such a little ham. Luckily he slept in until almost 8am. Did well in the hot springs. Pooped on mom's dress, good thing I had packed two! First Father's Day spent in the car. :-( Grandpa Rhinehart was happy to see him when we stopped by to get Kuna on our way home. Making fishy face and sucking his bottom lip a lot. Hasn't laughed much more yet. Still no teeth. Sucking thumb. Less squealing. Loves Kuna! Watching her, getting kisses, etc. Rolls like crazy these days, and quickly. Can't leave him on anything elevated anymore. Slept well this week..maybe the solid food did help? Such a sweetie. So smiley. So calm. Loves water bottles. Side and belly sleeper some nights.

Week 24 -
Makes silly little chipmunk face. Jumps and jumps in his little activity bouncer. Not just standing there anymore. Loves to sleep on his side and turns perpendicular in the crib all the time. Doing well eating. Getting much better at swallowing. I think he'll be a good eater. Totally willing to open his mouth. Likes to try and grab the spoon and wants to chew on it some. Still no teeth. So happy. Always happy. Had some potential nannies over to the house this week. He does well with all of them, and so does Kuna. Not making the decision any easier. Loves water bottles! Wants to grab at them, chew on them. Wants to grab at our phones. Waking up every night this week, Ugh. What's going on with my great sleeper? Loves to sleep on his side and suck his two middle fingers. Jumps like crazy in his activity center. Loves his Kermit frog toy. Going to sleep in his crib at about 7:30 most nights. Only cries a couple minutes and then he's out. Getting better at rolling from stomach to back, but still gets stuck on his tummy occasionally. Getting so big! Rolls on his thighs and butt. So cute! Ate carrots and seemed to like them. Better than apples anyway. Definitely getting better at swallowing. Love him so much, even if I'm exhausted this week! Ticklish. Smiles and almost laughs when you tickle his sides.
