15 Month Stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 9 oz
Height: 32.5"
Eye Color: Blue! His eyes are a very dynamic blue gray green color but have been looking more blue this month
Hair: Light brown and looking more blond everyday. He got his 2nd haircut this month and Dad did great!
Clothes: 12 - 18 months. His 18 months jammies are just about too small and his 12 months jeans are finally looking a little small. He's in all 18 month onesies and the 24 month tops aren't too big on him. He's so long! He's got a long torso and short legs. So funny!
Sleeping: Aiden takes two long naps, usually 1.5 hours in both the morning and afternoon. He goes down at ~9:30am and again at ~3pm. Aiden goes to bed between 7:30-8pm and sleeps ~10.5 hrs until about 6am. He'll lay so peacefully in his bed in the morning and wait until we get him but likes to wake up early!
Eating: Aiden is still a great eater! He really likes guacamole and tostadas. His favorite it probably spaghetti right now, but he likes all pasta dishes. He likes mac n cheese with sausage and veggies. He loves raisin toast and almost all fruit. Little cuties are one of his favorites along with blueberries. He seems to like shrimp or shrimp and pasta too! He's doing great eating dinner with us every night. He still drinks milk 4 times a day: morning, lunch, afternoon, and before bed. He drinks ~5-6 oz each time. We're working on switching him over to using a cup instead of a bottle, but he's not loving it so far!
Teeth: 12. He got two new bottom molars this month. They hurt him pretty bad when they were cutting through.
Loves: Aiden is such a happy boy. He is so pleasant and playful and incredible every day. Some of his favorites at 15 months are reading! We read almost his whole book shelf each day. His favorite books included some library books like "Shh We have a Plan", "Sheep go to Sleep" and the usual like Trucks, Nose Book, Oh No George, 100 first words, My Daddy Loves Me. He loves playing with his shapes and got really good at them. He can get almost all the shapes in, with a little bit of help. He runs and swings his left arm so fast and still sucks his right fingers all the time. He loves his lamb and elephant lovie. His lamb goes everywhere, even to the zoo and on walks this month. He has started calling the lamb "BaBa". Aiden likes to try and brush our teeth instead of letting us brush his. Aiden loves to watch birds or big trucks through the windows. He likes to push against us or the table when he's eating and rock back in his high chair. He's majorly testing boundaries these days, throwing food off his high chair, grabbing the remote, wanting to unplug the nest camera. He'll look at us and hold his hand there, thinking, debating, testing us! He's so smart! He still likes to play with the Foosball balls and table and drive Kuna nuts. He loves being outside! He likes to play with rocks, sticks, pine cones, the planters full of dirt, anything outside! He loves to find pine cones at the park and run around! Aiden loves bath time and has enjoyed the bubble bath I got him. He loves the remotes and smiles so big when he gets a hold of them. He likes to dance by waving his arms, spinning in circles, and squatting down. He mimics Daddy squatting down to dance too! He likes to look out the windows at the front door. He loves to play with balls and is getting really good at throwing them and loves when we bounce them. He tries to catch when we tell him to get ready to catch. He runs laps around the house like crazy, especially in the evening after dinner. He loves when we chase him or even when Kuna just runs around with him. He runs to the stairs to go up for bath time or when it's time to go to bed. Aiden likes to wave at everything and everyone and is getting very good at signing. More, milk, please, all done are the best ones. Aiden loves to take showers with us and mimic what we're saying or doing, like sticking out or tongue or dancing or running around the house. This month Aiden figured out that he likes the slide at the park and smiles and signs for more when he goes down them!
Hates: Not much! He doesn't like having his nose wiped, but that's about it.
Milestones: We had to go get the bigger size car seat this month and he looks way more comfortable in it. He'll love once we turn him around to forward facing. Talking a lot more. He's saying Dada like crazy, "uh oh, bye bye", every fruit and vegetable is still "banana", and he likes to say "basketball" (bass-ball). He tries to say Kuna as "NaaNaa" and is still refusing to say "Mama". He is doing great signing for "more" when he wants more or when he just "wants" something. He signs please and all done. His all done is a stiff arm gronk dance. :-) He loves his shapes and is starting to learn colors too. He likes to dance when music comes on and plays well with kiddos at the library, gymnastics, and music class. He will sit down when we ask, puts his arms up when getting undressed, smiles when Daddy asks, and tries to brush his hair and brush our teeth.
