It only took Aiden one day of learning how to roll over from his back to stomach before he was sleeping on his stomach at night. I've found him on his stomach pretty much every morning and he looks so cute. He did wake himself up crying a few times after he ended up on his stomach and either didn't like it or hit is head on the crib because he covers too much ground when he rolls! He is totally grabbing towards things, like his "age blocks" during picture time and the green ball when he's sitting in his Bumbo on the counter. And, we think he's on the verge of teething, because he had slightly bleeding gums early this week. Luckily he's just drooly and it doesn't seem to be bothering him much if he is teething.
Oh my gosh, Aiden's tear ducts work now, and he gets big ol crocodile tears rolling down his face when he cries. It is the saddest thing you've ever seen!
Aiden tried out an activity center toy when we were at the Serven's over the weekend and loved it, so we promptly put his together the next day. It was so cute to watch him focus on grabbing towards things and using his hands. He's so active and plays hard. He doesn't want to miss anything by taking a nap! He still just cat naps during the day but sleeps great at night. He's so much fun!
Ross had a big birthday on Sunday, and we enjoyed the day planting the garden, having a few visitors (Justin and Cambrey, Delly and Ron), and finished it off with a delicious scallops dinner.
Another great week in the books! Aiden is so smiley and such a happy baby. He's getting so big...almost too big for his puppy rocker, but he still snuggles and curls his legs up at night. He's my little sweetie! And he adores Kuna. He loves to watch her run around and smiles when she kisses him. He has really started to love bath time too. He splashes around like crazy! We couldn't ask for me! :-)
