1st Mother's Day!

Sunday May 10th - Today was my first Mother's Day.  My heart is so full and life so much more complete with Aiden in our lives.  I'm one lucky Momma to have this little guy.  He's such a sweet happy baby.  We're so fortunate.  I know I've said it before, but I truly enjoy being a mom.  More than I ever imagined.  :-)

I'm also so blessed to have the most amazing mother!!  Now that I have a little one of  my own, I can truly appreciate all my mother did for us.  The love, energy, emotion, time, worry, and effort that she put in to raise each of us, and to continue to as we age, is incredible!  My mom has always been our biggest fan, best support system, and loving presence in our lives.  And now my mom is my dearest friend!   What's even more amazing is that she's willing to put all that same time and energy into my little man now.  He and I are so lucky!

We had a great morning with my mom and family and played some Yahtzee while watching The Players golf tournament.  Good job Rickie!  Then Ross cooked up some delicious steaks and we enjoyed a great bottle of 2003 Silver Oak.  It was the best Mother's Day I could have asked for.  And....Aiden rolled over!  He rolled from back to stomach in the morning and then got better and better at it as the day went on.  Now he just needs to learn how to go back the other way!
