Year 1 Reflection

I was overcome with emotions yesterday, singing Happy Birthday to my sweet baby.  I have a 1 year old! My tiny baby has grown and flourished into this incredible little boy.  He's been so happy and so sweet from day one.  He's always had a calm temperment, been a fabulous eater and sleeper, and loves his puppy.  His smile melts our hearts and watching him play is our favorite evening activity.  We're so lucky to have this little guy as our son! I love you Aiden!

Some of my favorite moments

• The late night snuggles as he'd sleep on my chest after his dream feed. 
• Rocking him to sleep in my arms when he needed mid day naps when he was tiny
• Listening to him ooo and aaa in the mornings
• Seeing his smile when I'd get home from work. 
• Watching his face when we'd introduce new foods. 
• His little hug around my neck or when he snuggles and burrows into my chest once he got bigger and snuggles were rare.  The hug he gives me when he wakes up in the mornings now is the best and when he runs to me when I get home from work and gives me a big hug!
• His first giggles at Kuna jumping for the ball
• Playing in the hose in the backyard
• Watching our parents with him
• Watching him sleep and gazing at his perfect little face
